Varsity Campout
8/12 (Fri) - 8/14 (Sun)

There are a few practices, events and meetings throughout the year that are specific to current varsity level runners.  With a large team it is important we set aside time to communicate directly to them about varsity targets, goals, expectations and training.  One of those events is the Varsity Training Camp.  When selecting the 18-20 runners we can take, we look at past performance (chance of making varsity), current fitness (we will have a few key workouts during the summer to check in on fitness), and commitment to training with the team throughout the year.

We are planning on spending a few days working out, swimming, floating, getting to know each other, setting season goals, and having fun.  This year we we will be camping here.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

  • We will be driving a 15 passenger van and a few coaches cars.
  • Please visit with your teammates to decide how many tents you need.  Not everybody needs to bring a tent.
  • All food is included, but you are welcome to bring some snacks if you would like.
